Quarry Hunt In Singapore Part 1
Updated: Dec 14, 2020
Staying in the west of Singapore for so long and I didnt even know that there is such a beautiful rustic nature park and area like Bukit Batok nature park.
The park was built on an abandoned quarry site in 1988. In the park, there is also a World War 2 memorial for the fallen soldiers.
Beside the memorial is also a cool building which is the Bukit Batok transmittal tower that seriously reminds me of Chernobyl.
If you walk further down along the fence surrounding the tower you will chance upon Lorong Sesuai. Anyone knows the meaning of that road name? Lorong means alley/lane. Over here you can see some interesting houses that reminds me of British Colonial housing.
Two entry points to the Bukit Batok Nature Park, via Lorong Sesuai or the entrance from Hillview.
