Here are activities you should try out in Jewel in December 2020!

Try out Chinese delicacies at YUN NANS

78 Airport Blvd., #02-217, Singapore 819666

Opening Hours: 11.30am to 10pm

Tip: go in the weekdays to avoid the crowd. This restaurant is rather popular and you will need to queue

We ordered the lunch set ($39.90) which comes with a plate of century egg, grilled seabass and the claypot beancurd.

We also ordered their popular steam pot chicken soup ($23.90++)

I did not quite like the chicken soup as it was a little too greasy

Interesting part was you had to scoop out the chicken and place it in the bowl beside and drizzle the sauce that has a mala taste to it.

Overall well worth it for 3 pax.

After heavy lunch, go explore some fun attractions in Jewel:

Attractions at Level 5 Jewel

Some interesting things to see here is the animal picture spots and playground.

Cater mainly for kids but adults can join in the fun too.

Admission to Canopy Park includes:

1. Discovery Slides

2. Foggy Bowls

3. Petal Garden

4. Topiary Walk

Separate admission charges apply to:

1. Canopy Bridge

2. Hedge Maze

3. Mirror Maze

4. Manulife Sky Nets - Bouncing

5. Manulife Sky Nets - Walking

Do note that the tickets are very expensive and it could cost you around S$80 per pax if you want to enjoy all the attractions.

Do use your Singapore Rediscover Vouchers to claim the tickets, then it will be more worth it.

Check out how to redeem on Klook:

For example, the Hedge Maze only took us 5 mins to complete and costs around $12 on Jewel's website which doesn't make sense to me

Another point to note, the canopy bridge also requires you to purchase a ticket before entering. It costs S$8 for a standard ticket. My point is, I also only took me 5 mins to walk that bridge, take photos etc, and why so expensive?

Try out A&W Singapore

78 Airport Boulevard, #B2-209, Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore 819666

Opening Hours: 9am to 11pm

A&W made a come back to Singapore after they left in 2003

I believe their standards have dropped and portion sizes are so small.

The only things worth trying are the root bear float ($3.50) and ice cream waffles ($7.90)

Most not worth it item was the double cheese burger (ala carte at $5.90), so expensive!

Other items ordered are the fish burger, beef cheese fries and american hotdog bun

Do be prepared to queue for at least 30 mins depending on crowd.

Lastly, Shiseido Forest Valley

Make sure after spending so much money on food and shopping at Jewel, do check out the 16 metre Christmas tree and magical snowfall at Shiseido Forest Valley.

Present your receipts to gain entry.

Entry starts at 6pm onwards.
